Co-op Program & Career Development
All new, eligible students who start a Master’s program or course in October 2021 will receive a $500 scholarship applied to the Fall 2 term.
Deadline to apply is October 12. Classes run October 25 through December 17.
Merrimack’s MSM program will give you the connections, tools, and support to leap forward in your career.
Optional Co-op Placement with Leading Companies
This 4 credit elective includes a career development course followed by paid, semester-long, Co-op with a local company. Your academic advisors at the Girard School of Business will work closely with you to identify a Co-op placement that aligns with your career goals and aspirations and will guide you through the hiring process. You will also have regular meetings with a faculty mentor who can provide additional perspective into your Co-op work.
Daytime placements with leading industry partners allow students to continue their coursework during the Co-op program.
The prerequisite Career Development Course will assist you not only with exploring careers and identifying appropriate co-op opportunities, but also with honing key skills such as resume writing, interviewing, networking, and maintaining an impactful social media presence.

Whether or not you partake in the Co-op program, Merrimack’s faculty and staff will work closely with you to explore possible career paths, plan your search strategy, and prepare you to put your best foot forward.
